Cooking an entire meal for the first time could either go really well or extremely horrible. I’ve always had someone at home with me to make dinner as I use to live at home and would usually get someone’s opinion or help. Since I moved out I decided to try making a dish from scratch, but I was afraid I’d burn something. I decided to give it a try and have some fun. At first having three stoves going I thought I was going to burn something, but as an end result, my dinner looked and tasted amazing and it was all because I put my mind to it and decided to do it.

Think Differently Journal Entry 2 – Just do it
During this week I had just settled into my new place near Humber College – Lakeshore. One of my daily activities back in Brampton was to go for a jog/run. The neighborhood there is safe and has some beautiful parks. A few people have told me to be careful in this new area as it isn’t as safe as my home area in Brampton. Having heard this I was starting to become discouraged and a little afraid to explore the area by myself. I decided to take the risk and explore the neighborhood while going for a run. I was quite happy to discover beautiful sceneries around the lake. If I had stayed at home, I wouldn’t have discovered this.

Think Differently Journal Entry 1 – Oh S#IT a dog…
This past weekend I was invited to a family barbeque. The entire family (the family in Toronto) would always show up for an event like this. Included in the family is my cousins small dog Milo. I’ve always been deathly afraid of animals, including dogs, however, since he’s a small dog and looks like a cute stuffed animal I wasn’t too scared to pet him. Over the course of a few hours I eventually began to get use to him and started playing with him. For me this was a huge improvement as I normally don’t play with animals and usually stay clear of them. It will take awhile to get over my fear of animals, but so far I think I’m doing pretty well.
